On Saturday the 8th June 2019, Ruth Jones, Sue Cork, Eve Cork and Anne Gullett are walking from Margate to Faversham to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan do amazing work every single day and we couldn’t be prouder of these 4 lovely ladies in their marathon length endeavour.
To help them raise money for this fantastic cause, a night of quality live music at the Market Inn in Faversham has been organised for Saturday 18th May. Music will start at 8pm. ENTRY TO THIS AWESOME EVENT IS FREE BUT BUCKETS WILL BE SHAKEN FOR MACMILLAN, any donation of any amount will be gratefully received and very much appreciated.
Live Music on the night will be provided by the following highly talented artists who are all giving up their time in support of this wonderful charity:
Mark Lees - Mark kicks off proceedings at 8pm. A singer songwriter based in Faversham playing a mixture of classy covers and his own original tunes, Mark’s dexterous acoustic guitar playing and smooth vocals will be a perfect start to the evening.
Wooden Maria - A stunning alternative folk rock band - Wooden Maria are comprised of Oliver Muto on vocals and Guitar, Rowan Arnold on bass, Haimer Aitkins on Drums and Clare Hewitt on Violin. Prepare to be seriously impressed by this set of intricately woven, brooding original songs.
The Bones - closing out the evening for us are the Bones. An electric, eclectic and highly skilled covers band based in Kent. George (Vox and Guitar), Andy (Bass), Helmut (Guitar), Steve (Keys) and Dale (Drums) bring the party to any venue they play with their bangin’ set list, muscular playing and full sound.
