Archived 17th & 18th October 2015 - THE FREEWHEEL OKTOBERFEST CRAFT BEER & BICYCLE FESTIVAL - at The Freewheel Graveney

A perfect weekend for lovers of beer, ales, ciders, food and bicycles

On 17 and 18 October the Freewheel Pub and Cycling Cafe will host its first ever Oktoberfest, celebrating Kent’s finest craft beers, ales and more, the event is free to attend and runs from 10am on 17 October to 11pm on Sunday 18 October.

There will be ciders from some of Kent’s finest producers and of course our kitchen will be serving excellent locally sourced food. The Craft beer industry is flourishing in the UK and artisan brewers from across Kent will be at the Freewheel offering festival goers an extensive range of unique beers and ales to sample and of course to buy.

However Oktoberfest isn’t just about food and drink, it is also about bicycles; handmade bicycles, crafted components and accessories as well as unique cycling gifts.

Special guests include local frame builders the award winning ‘new boy on the block’ Timmy Rowan of Rowan Frameworks from Woodbridge, and Caren Harley of Hartley Cycles in South London.

The Freewheel Oktoberfest is also the perfect place to find unusual gifts, sample local food, buy unique Christmas presents and chat to fellow lovers of food, drink and bicycles!
