Archived Friday 19th April 2019 - THE PASSION OF JESUS - LIVE-STREAMED FROM TRAFALGAR SQUARE - at Faversham Baptist Church

12:00 Midday
Every year a spectacular full-scale re-enactment of Jesus's final days - from his arrest and crucifixion to his resurrection - takes place in Trafalgar Square on Good Friday.

The Passion of Jesus is movingly performed by the Wintershall Players. A cast of more than 100 actors and volunteers dressed in splendid costumes, as well as horses, donkeys and doves, come together to create an authentic scene in the centre of London.

Returning for the 9th year, the show attracts tens of thousands of spectators, encompassing all faiths.

Faversham Baptist Church will be live-streaming the event on a big screen starting at 12 noon on Good Friday. Admission is free. Teas, coffees and hot cross buns will be available ☕️

Everyone is welcome! 🙂

Note: The Passion of Jesus has a realistic interpretation of the crucifixion, so parental guidance is advised.
