Archived Wednesday 20th February 2019 - UKULELE OPEN MIC NIGHT - at The Market Inn

There's a little talked about feature of our town - the remarkably large number of people in Faversham who own or play the Ukulele...

If you count yourself amongst this (somewhat secretive) band of strummers and pluckers, then this month there's a chance for you to dust off your uke and join like-minded souls at Faversham's only regular Ukulele Open Mic Night.

So whether you are a beginner, a seasoned pro, or one of the countless enthusiasts who learned to play in one of the local community groups - you'd be very welcome to mosey on over to the Market Inn (next to the Rec) on Wednesday 20th February from around 8pm for an 8.30 start. Play a song on stage, join in the choruses from the safety of your seat, or just watch others having fun. It's free and easy - just turn up.

And if the ukulele is not your thing, then you know that the rest of Faversham will be a ukulele-free safespace on Wednesday 20th. Everyone's a winner!
