Archived Wednesday 20th September 2017 - UKULELE OPEN MIC NIGHT - at.The Market Inn

After a break for the summer, which featured several magnificent local ukulele festivals, the Market Inn - Faversham's finest public house for live music - welcomes back the bi-monthly Ukulele Open Mic Night.
The format is that to warm things up we'll kick off at 8.30pm with some sing-along, strum-along numbers from our songbook - which can now be downloaded for free from here:…/Singalong-Open-Mic-Night…

And then it's time for soloists, duets, trios & small groups to take it in turns to take to the stage to perform a couple or three numbers for the entertainment of the throng.

The mics and amplification are all set up on the stage, and there's even a bass-uke player to give you that full-bodied sound if you'd like.

Mostly ukes, but the odd mandolin, banjo, washboard, bongo or tin-whistle won't be turned away! Beginners or experts. Old or new. It really doesn't matter.

All are welcome - to play, accompany or just to watch & clap along. There's nice beer, wine & coffee And fabulous company.
See you there - & spread the word!

Organised by the Market Inn public house and some of the resident Market Strummers - but for all ukulele players in Kent & beyond!!
or find us on Facebook (where there's some pics from last time out)
Next dates for your diary: 16 November 2017; 17 January 2018; 21 March....etc
