Archived Saturday 7th February 2015 - NATIONAL LIBRARIES DAY - at Faversham Library

10 to 12

Celebration of National Libraries Day at Faversham Library, starting at 10am with a free storytime for children aged three to seven, exploring books about books and meeting favourite children's characters.

From 10am, the library will also be running National Libraries Day quizzes, perfect for fans of literary trivia! How well do you know the opening lines of some of the nation’s best-loved novels? Are you an expert on young adult fiction? Perhaps you know your Topsy and Tim from your Charlie and Lola? See how well you do and you might be a prize-winner.

With activities, book recommendations, mystery books and an opportunity to meet library volunteers to learn about regular clubs, there's something for everyone.
