Acclaimed international singer, songwriter and recording artist, Ruth Minhall, has performed across the globe, from London to New York and beyond.

Starting as a songwriter in 1995, Ruth developed her style and sound with band, The Wild Rummies, in East Side, New York. It was there that she was spotted for her potential as a recording artist and returned to London to work with Danny Foster, The Mischief Makers and Asian Dub Foundation.

But her love of Old Soul and Jazz took her back to her roots as a performer at venues including The Ritz, 606 Club and Café de Paris.

Now a Kent based vocalist, Ruth tours with 8 piece band, Loose Change, as their lead singer. She also enjoys performing as a soloist, in the studio and at selective gigs.

Known for her distinct vocal style, Ruth applies fresh and sensitive interpretations of musical arrangements to popular material, rendering them as both timeless classics but also, effectively, new songs.
