Prepare for an invasion by sea, possibly via Faversham Creek and the Swale. Scheepsfolk are coming, 'Ship's People in our tongue. This band of four have plundered many festivals in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France as well as parts of the UK.They are Jan Buijs, Philip Bos, Remco Heemskerk and Catherina Buijs. They accompany their English, Dutch and French sea songs on guitar, banjo, accordion, harmonica, uprightbass and bohdran. You'll hear shanties and ballads, with plenty of harmony, delivered equally with splosh and splerm. They even write their own stuff !
