Whiskey Moon Face - this wondrous band reveals influences from early 20th century jazz, vaudeville blues, rag-time and north Indian classical music, led by the stunning vocals of singer Louisa Jones whose voice is like a soothing baritone wisp, captivating you in her velvety yet raw and warm range of blues infused melodies. This combined with the Roma gypsy sound of the Accordion, Ewan Bleach’s hypnotic and virtuosic clarinet playing, the punchy rhythms of legendary Dakota Jim on double bass makes for an enchanting musical blend.

Gentlemen of Few are a four piece Bluegrass-Folk band from Kent. Their instrumentation includes, primarily; Guitar, Banjo, Piano and bass but also frequently includes instruments such as piano-accordion, trumpets and drums.
Gigging together from around 2010, they have grown a large number of followers in that time, not only from Kent but from across the country. Their set contains a mixture of originals and covers and they take influences from a broad range of artists and genres such as The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, Bob Dylan and Tallest Man on Earth. These influences make Gentlemen of Few's sound an enjoyable blend of melodic, passionate and hard-hitting, foot-stomping Bluegrass and Folk.
Having played the Winter-Gardens in Margate, the Forum Tunbridge-Wells, The Garage in London amongst others Gentlemen of Few are now finalists in the BBC 2 Young Folk Awards where they'll be performing at the Royal Albert Hall.
