A Sheps pub on the corner of East Street and Park Road alongside the recreation ground.
This is a very large pub so don’t be put off  as you enter if it looks busy, bands play in a large area to the side of the main bar or in the large, well planned garden area. The landlord, David,  has a reputation for putting on good music most Fridays and Sundays. It is well worth avoiding the crowds in the centre of town and walking the hundred yards to The Market Inn

The Trip
The Trip are Tony Pepper, Pete Phillips on lead guitar and vocals, Peter White on keyboards and bass and drummer, usually Geoff Isaacs or Andy Jenkins. They play music from 1966-69. Anything from Baby just wrote me a letter, born to be wild, whiter shade of pale. It is very groovy!!!





The Konks

a dedicated tribute to The Kinks...featuring such classics as Sunny Afternoon, Waterloo Sunset, Lola, Days, You Really Got Me, See My Friends, Autumn Almanac, Dead End Street....the list goes on and on.......so celebrate with us the genius of Ray Davies....with The Konks!
