From February 2014 the pub changed its name from 'The Old Wine Vaults' to simply 'The Vaults'

A Bit about the pub. Dating from 1602 this town centre tardis of a pub has beams and bags of atmosphere. A free house, it's host beer usually from Hopdaemon brewery in Newnham, the ale's change regularly. Nuala and David have turned this pub around and are very proud to be in the 2011 Good Beer Guide, they hold cask marque and pride them selves on traditional drinks and food. Steaks a speciality. Always at least one cask cider.
