Saturday 28th April 2019 - CIRCLED IN THE RADIO TIMES - at The White Lion, Selling

This is the second in a series of three events hosted in conjunction with Inn Crowd - a partnership project supported by Arts Council England to bring live literature events to rural community pubs.

The performances will start at 9pm, in the function room - tickets are £7.50 per performance or £15.00 for all three and are available from the pub.

The restaurant will be open beforehand, so if you'd like to book for dinner, please reserve a table as soon as possible

We are delighted to welcome back John Osbourne, after his very successful performance of "John Peels Shed" last year. We are told his brand new storytelling show is as good, if not better and we're really looking forward to seeing him

It's funny, it’s interesting and about something that is very easy for
everyone to relate to - television. The story begins when John is given a box of old copies of the Radio Times that once belonged to his grandparents. He pieces together their lives by the shows that they lovingly circled in each edition. However, the show is not just about that box of old copies of the Radio Times, but the role television plays in our lives and the changing ways all of us watch TV.
