Scolds Bridle are long established as one of the leading female folk duos in the country. Their relaxed approach on stage, wonderful harmonies and infectious humour provide the audience with a truly memorable experience.
It’s quite obvious that Sue and Liz have honed their stagecraft to perfection over several years and this is evident through their seemingly effortless enjoyment of each performance. Their warmth, friendliness and remarkable virtuosity provide you with a wonderful evenings
entertainment. Liz with her guitar quietly getting on with it and adding her comments and Sue always with an excuse to be side tracked by the audience which can be very funny leading to ‘not in the script’ situations !
They cover a wide spectrum of songs and stories from poignant to sad, wistful to melancholy, funny to hilarious. Their fabulous humour mixed with the ability to tug at the heartstrings in the next moment bring a mixed bag of emotions to any audience. Be warned you will be royally entertained !
