Phil Zimmerman's No 5 Club at the Arden Theatre: SIMON MUNNERY, plus very special guests, with Phil Zimmerman as MC.

Tickets £15 from Sweetscene, Preston Street, Faversham, or

Comedy returns to the Arden Theatre on Saturday February 22nd, with a second chance to see the brilliant Simon Munnery, who was scheduled to headline the December show but was unable to appear due to a car crash.

And he is joined by the legendary Whitstable-based comic Nick Wilty, plus special guests.

Munnery created the legendary comic character Alan Parker Urban Warrior and his BBC1 television show Attention Scum was nominated for a Golden Rose of Montreux.

In one of his many Edinburgh Fringe shows Munnery donned a hat crafted from a kettle and in another performed entirely with a metal bucket over his head. And he is the only stand-up to have written a song about the Corby 500 Electric Trouser press. And very funny it is, too.

The press on Simon Munnery:
'One of the funniest and most original comedians of the past 20 years' The Guardian
'In one audacious, ingenious leap of imagination, Munnery has escaped the bounds of stand-up as we know it' The Scotsman
'He does more with the English language than many great novelists' Edinburgh Evening News
'Clever, imaginative and thrilling' Metro'
'Simon Munnery is an avant-garde comedy god. Ambitious, artistic and hugely funny' Time Out

(Note: the poster used for this event is not the 'official' poster. PiF has used last December's poster but changed the date etc.)
