8.45 The Lost Weekend,

formed in the spring of 1994, just as Britpop was making its impact. Inspired by the resurgence of this MOD based, high energy music, the Lost Weekend began by putting together a set of classic MOD tunes that influenced the whole Britpop scene. This provided an opportunity to mix the set with a rich variety of music, old and new, which we have exploited with great success ever since.

The set today is still constantly changing. With bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, Supergrass, Oasis and the Fratellis the evidence of a 40 year old influence is very apparent. Great news, for The Lost Weekend are always looking to expand on their huge back catalogue of stonking tunes.

The band line up still consists of 3 of the 4 original members, all of whom are passionate about the music they play. With a laid back approach, the emphasis is to play the songs that have, or will influence generations, songs that will get feet dancing and tunes that will have you humming hours after the gig is over.
